Burleigh Electric was formed in 1955 by its founder, William (Bud) Burleigh. Bud quickly became known for quality workmanship and a high standard of customer service. In 1974, upon completing his miliary duty in the US Navy, Roger Burleigh joined his father as the second generation to serve our customers. The company enjoyed a growing clientelle as word of mouth spread throughout the Greater Portland area. Roger's sister, Charlotte Mary, joined the company in 1995, thus creating the lamp repair division of Burleigh Electric. In 1997 Roger's daughter, Cheri Burleigh Lozoraitis, joined the team bringing the company legacy to a third generation. Charlotte's husband, Arthur Mary, who worked for the company in the early 80's, came back for good in 2001.

				Originally serving mostly Falmouth, Cumberland, and Yarmouth, our electricians and lamp repair shop now service customers all over Greater Portland and it's surrounding areas, including points north to Freeport & Brunswick, west to Windham and Standish, and south to Kennebunk and Wells. We also serve customers via ferry and private portage on the islands of Casco Bay. Call us and we'll be there!
